Should churches use juice or wine for communion?
There are many reasons for a church to abstain from alcoholic drinks and tempting anyone struggling with alcoholism. It is dangerous.
The other side of the coin is that Jesus made and drank wine in the Scriptures.
Is this an interpretation thing, or does it morph into postmodern thought. Your thoughts?

Does your church address “Sacred Cows”?
Just like ouchies, it is easier to just rip the band-aid off. The longer it takes for churches to address sacred cows the longer it could take be the church God has planted.

My family was obviously new to the church and fairly nervous about the dreaded visitor spotlight. You know, the spotlight that seems to follow every visitor at every church. There was a moment that seemed like eternity; it was the moment that visitors were singled out by the raising of hands…
Is there an effective way to “get-to-know” visitors without that awkward moment? How does your church do it?
